I've seen a lot of Unreal Engine 4 remakes of classic games in my time, and I feel like so many of them miss the mark. While it's always awesome to mas my favourite games with a fresh coat of paint and enhanced graphics, a lot of these Unreal Engine remakes feel like they're baby bollywood movie free download something. They're technically impressive, of course, but they're lacking that little extra flair - that art direction or unique style that made the very game its remaking such a timeless hit. Not this one. This is, without doubt, the most impressive Unreal Engine remake I ureal ever seen, one that unrael true to the bright colours and strange characters of the original game while looking like Nintendo could have released it for Switch yesterday.
It was, to be fair, radically different from its predecessor. Weirder, darker, and altogether more alienthe Zelda fans that fell for Majora's Mask are almost certainly the enine ones who ended up embracing emo culture as teenagers. While the game has since been re-released and enhanced for the Nintendo 3DS, it's unlikely that we'll ever see it given a full remake for Nintendo Switch.

As much as that's a genuine shame for those that might have never experienced the game before Take a look at it for yourself in the video below, or via this ubreal. The eerie vibe from the short video manages to absolutely nail that ethereal, otherworldly quality that made the original Majora's Mask feel so unique. Sitting through the entire five minutes is genuinely uncomfortable, and has me convinced that if Nintendo were to ever work on a direct sequel or HD remake, they'd need to give Felix a call first.

Not that we're complaining - just being able to run around in such a well-made remake at all is an absolute joy. February marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend Of Zelda franchise, but I don't think we should get too excited about Nintendo making anything like the above official. These were ports, however, not remasters or remakes.
